Hi, I’m Courtney — your trusted guide to elder care and nurse entrepreneurship!
I am a Registered Nurse, Patient Advocate, Certified Aging Life Care Manager, Advanced Legal Nurse Consultant, and the founder of multiple successful concierge nursing and care management businesses.
With decades of experience in elder care and entrepreneurship, I consult with families to create care management plans for their aging loved ones and mentor nurses who want to start their own concierge or care management practice or business.

My Journey
Nursing & Entrepreneurship
I started my nursing career as an RN at UCLA in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) and as a member of their ICU Resource Team. I later went on to found multiple successful healthcare businesses, including:
Heal at Home, LLC (non-medical home care agency)
RN Care Consultants, LLC (care management firm)
Heal at Home Nursing, Inc (private nurse registry)
Nurses Onsite, Inc (corporate wellness company)
Call-Light (concierge nursing platform)
Speaking & Advocacy
As both an Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association and as an official Alzheimer’s Association Public Policy Ambassador, I work to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia — including volunteering as a special guest speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association through the Speaker’s Bureau.
I have also spoken on multiple podcasts and served as a panel speaker regarding care management, healthcare, and elder issues with the Senior Advisory Group.

I am married with a school-aged son and two fur babies.
I LOVE to hike in the Texas Hill Country, Sedona, and California.
I get way too excited when I see a Painted Bunting at my bird feeder.
My favorite food is sushi.
My travel bucket list includes Africa, Scotland, Bali, and Cambodia.
I am not a big sports fan, but I am a fan of tailgaiting.
My houseplant count is now somewhere in the double digits.
My favorite bird is a crow — who doesn’t love Counting Crows?!
My favorite season is spring… and when the baby deer appear all over my neighborhood!
I have seen Taylor Swift LIVE in concert 3 times and still counting …
I have started 5 different companies and my last one was acquired for several million dollars…
I love solving complex problems and my mission is to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
